How to get over fears?
i have to get a shot thursday its like the booster shots for some cancer im 12 and i extremely fear shots i will literly cry and scream around the docs office for 5 hours if i have to plz give me tips on how to calm down

Can some medication cause OCD or enhanced fears?
Ever since I've been taking a certain antibiotics I've noticed that my very light phobia of unorganised dots has taken a turn. Usually the dots just annoy me, and that's it but now I can't help but notice them everywhere. If I do see them, for example, raindrops, I have to cover them up otherwise I will just burst out into tears. I'm not sure if this OCD or a phobia. If anyone knows if this has happened to them with some medication, that would be great.

How to cope with irrational fears?
I've got a friend who's scared of doing every day things. A bit of a social anxiety. She's afraid to take life into her own hands, make important phone calls, talk with people, get involved with people. She kind of circumvented this by volunteering somewhere. But it still gets to her and upsets her. It really concerns me. I was hoping I could get some advice on how to help her tackle these fears. Please. No psychiatry. I'm not here for what I feel is patch work. I want long lasting permanent psychological results. Not a pill. Anyone here been down this road and overcame it? What did you do?

Well i have 3 main fears,horror movies,roller coasters,and arachnids spiders,scorpions etc How can i just get over them

How can i mentally get over this extreme fear?!!?
not a demon, but anything from outside your body entered into your body. it can be living or not. i used to have a fear of cancer entering inside me and other fears as a kid. one day i asked myself, " why am i scared of something entering into my body from outside it?" then i answered, " because its instinct that if anything enters inside you, to get it out because you feel violated " then i figured, " is there a way to get over this feeling and just allow whatever is inside you to stay without feeling depressed and anxious about it? lets say a beetle crawled inside your body, and you could go to a doctor and get it out. because your first reaction by instinct is " get it out, its invading my body" can anyone get passed this feeling and just allow it to stay if it isnt hurting you? this is all just hypothetical for the most part, but as a kid things like bugs, cancer, rape, and other things going inside you or even things entering and never coming out scare me. is it possible what im asking, to get past the fear of it being in you forever, and just allow it to stay? even if you have a choice of getting it out?

I have a fear of not being able to go to sleep?
I have a fear of not being able to go to sleep at other people's houses or at camp Pit rlly weird...because my fears disapear only if my mom sleepover with me. o.O Any tips on how to get rid of this fear so when i go to camp i can actually go to sleep and not worry?? For example any tips to help you go to sleep faster or make you more tired, and relax u? P kevin it's only a fear of sleeping over for camp for like 3 days, im worried if i cant get to sleep D' well im not scared of going to sleep but what if i cant go to sleep, it seems like a dumb fear but im still worried D btw I'm like twelve
